/&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Novas Unidades Binárias Oficiais: GiB, MeB, KiB, Gib, Meb, Kib, Gibit, Mebit, Kibit, etc...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Em dezembro de 1998 a Comissão Eletrotécnica Internacional (IEC)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;aprovou a norma que define os prefixos dos múltiplos binários,&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;para usar nas publicações relacionadas com o processamento e&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;comunicação de dados digitais.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;O nome de cada prefixo é derivado do correspondente do Sistema&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Internacional de Unidades (SI), mantendo-se as duas primeiras&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;letras e adicionando-se as letras "bi" para significar binário.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;De forma semelhante, os símbolos dos prefixos binários derivam&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;dos símbolos correspondentes do SI, adicionando-se a letra "i".&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span 'b'&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;   byte  (símbolo: 'B'), um byte, normalmente de 8 bits (podendo ser de 5 a 10 bits)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span new;"&gt;      IEEE, NIST e ISO admitem tanto os simbolo 'bit' quanto o 'b'.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Observe que deve se sempre usar 'K' maiúsculo na nomenclatura binária. Ex: KiB, Kibit e Kib.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Normalmente já se usava em informática:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;   'K' maiúsculo para 1024;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;   'k' minúsculo para 1000;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;   'B' maiúsculo para byte e&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;   'b' minúsculo para bit.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Há consenso universal que as velocidades de comunicação de dados são expressadas&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;sempre pelo SI. Ex.: 1 megabit/segundo = 1.000.000 bits/segundo = 1 Mbit/s = 1 Mbps.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Os fabricantes de Disco Rígido (HD ou SSD) sempre usam SI, ou seja GB = 10^9 bytes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Sendo assim eles vendem uma capacidade "maior". Ex.: 160 gigabytes = 149,05 gibibytes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:courier new;"&gt;Os fabricantes de memória (RAM) sempre usam JEDEC, ou seja GB = 2^30 bytes. Circuitos de RF devem ser montados em uma PCI bem elaborada minimizando as capacitâncias parasitas, etc. Como não estava afim de fazer uma placa, tentei construir em uma &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;protoboard&lt;/span&gt;. Mesmo que alguém diga que não é possível, eu consegui tomando alguns cuidados: &lt;br /&gt; 1- Coloquei o transistor bem espaçado no &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;protoboard&lt;/span&gt;; &lt;br /&gt; 2- Montei o capacitor variável e a bobina do lado de fora.&lt;br /&gt;Tomando esses cuidados, consegui uma boa transmissão de no máximo uns 2m. Este é o meu primeiro blog. Pretendo abordar assuntos relativos à informática (hardware e software) e eletrônica (reparos, dicas, circuito, etc...).  Bem, ao longo da minha jornada nos posts vocês saberão mais sobre mim.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"&gt;Vamos, então, ao primeiro post. Surfando pela net em busca de solução para melhorar o sinal do modem Huawei E160 encontrei somente soluções caras. Como não estava querendo gastar uma grana, ainda mais que esse problema que estou resolvendo é para um amigo, fui no bom e velho ebay em busca de alguma solução barata. Pesquisando, encontrei um adaptador para o plug da antena do E160 para SMA. Depois de esperar 40 dias, o adaptador chegou em minhas mãos. Não perdi tempo, combinei com meu amigo para testar no modem usando uma antena dlink de 2db. A velocidade de conexão melhorou MUITO!!!!!! Antes não passava de 10kbytes/s, porém, com a antena, conseguimos velocidade de 18kbytes/s. Uma melhora significativa. Contrariando o que possam me dizer: que a antena não é para essa freqüência, que tinha que usar outro tipo de solução, etc... Digo que funcionou!!!!!!  E resolveu o problema!!!!!!!!!
